Barbara Presents Victim to Survivor then Thriver for ACA

By popular demand, Barbara is making a powerful presentation on understanding and recovering from childhood sexual, physical and emotional abuse, abandonment and neglect.  As adults, our "depression," and other problems with living can in many cases be traced back to psychological and physical traumas that occurred when we were children. Understanding the nature of these problems is an important key in learning to recover from them.

She will be presenting results from the very popular "ACE Study" (Adverse Childhood Experiences) that was jointly conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Kaiser Permanente, which her husband, Charles Whitfield MD, was a researcher.

The basis of her presentation comes from her book, "Victim to Survivor Then Thriver."
